Living my long standing dream, I've joined the ranks of the esteemed RV Fulltimer

I've kind of slacked off in the RV shopping. I've gotten a little burnt out, traveling 100 (plus) miles to go look at a single vehicle that doesn't pan out. I'm hoping that with the price of gas going up, the price of used Class Cs will be going down. I'm seeing a glut of RVs for sale on line and I'm tracking a couple watching the price drop.

For the past year I've been looking for a cap for my pickup. My neighbor stumbled across one, literally, in his back yard; well, it was in his neighbor's back yard.

I'd been fighting with myself (yet, again) about reinvesting in a tent since most of my camping gear was stolen. The cap will enable me to go camping this summer without purchasing a tent. I'll also be able to use the bed of the truck for storage when I go full time.

The cap is not pretty, and that's fine with me. Hopefully, it gives the impression that I don't have anything worth stealing.

  1. Looks pretty good for free :) Hey, are you considering a B at all? Just curious.

  2. I know what you mean about burnout! This RV shopping can be an emotional and financial drain.

  3. Mike, I'm looking at everything!

Kim, I just have to keep the goal in the forefront!
