Too small? But I like the mileage!

In the UK, it's legal on the foot paths

and in the stores...

According to the manufacturer, ETA (Environmental Transport Association) was developed to, "...highlight the estimated 220,000 people who use a mobility scooter without breakdown cover and face the prospect of a very long wait should they suffer a mechanical fault or their battery runs flat..."

The QT Van got it's name because it encompasses three very British pastimes: queuing, tea and caravans.

Currently, it's being marketed as the perfect way of for elderly spectators to stake-out the best spot on the Royal Wedding procession route, without spending the night sleeping on the pavement.

Standard features include a 19" TV and a kettle. Optional features include solar roof panels, satellite dish, gaming console, central heating, external luggage rack, bespoke paint (whatever that is)

Watch the video, to take a tour of the vehicle. Don't worry, it won't take long!

Compliments of The Fail Blog

I try to buy American made products. I also try to avoid American companies who have out-sourced their labor. When I am looking for a particular product I utilize a couple of websites.

Americans Working

Exporting America

It's not always possible, for a number of reasons, to buy American made merchandise. But it's good for America, for all of us, if we try.

Progress...

I've kind of slacked off in the RV shopping. I've gotten a little burnt out, traveling 100 (plus) miles to go look at a single vehicle that doesn't pan out. I'm hoping that with the price of gas going up, the price of used Class Cs will be going down. I'm seeing a glut of RVs for sale on line and I'm tracking a couple watching the price drop.

For the past year I've been looking for a cap for my pickup. My neighbor stumbled across one, literally, in his back yard; well, it was in his neighbor's back yard.

I'd been fighting with myself (yet, again) about reinvesting in a tent since most of my camping gear was stolen. The cap will enable me to go camping this summer without purchasing a tent. I'll also be able to use the bed of the truck for storage when I go full time.

The cap is not pretty, and that's fine with me. Hopefully, it gives the impression that I don't have anything worth stealing.
